＜DRIES VAN NOTEN（ドリス ヴァン ノッテン）＞
1958年アントワープにて3世代続くテーラーの家に生まれる。1986年にロンドンにて、“アントワープの6人”としてメンズコレクションを発表し、世界から賞賛を得る。1991年にメンズコレクションを、1993年にはウィメンズコレクションをパリのランウェイで発表。2014年3月、パリ装飾美術館にてデザイナーの創作のインスピレーション源を披露するエキシビション『ドリス・ヴァン・ノッテン ‐ インスピレーションズ』を開催し、さらに2017-2018年にはデザイナーの創作の源を探るドキュメンタリー映画が公開され、共に記録的な大反響を呼ぶ。豊かな色彩や柄で描かれるオリジナルの生地、インドの職人の手仕事が生み出す洗練された刺繍、型にはまらない独自のスタイルと美学・・・その唯一無二の世界観は、ファッション界のみならずアート界や様々な分野からも絶大な評価を得ている。
